I see...I guess I misunderstood the situations. I will leave this topic to the experts.

No worries I am sorry if that came across as rude, but I keep hearing that in the Chris' thread as it is. There are other reasons that it is down on torque compared to other cars the same day, but its still up from where it was...290 in January to the 314 or 324 it is now.

yeah, it would also be interesting to see what a staggered setup w/ the gsc would look like, power wise. S2 intake cam, s3 exhaust cam...?

i've seen a comparison of the S2 vs S3 on a 35R and i think the S3 is too large for that turbo. So you can figure out what i would say about a stock turbo on the S3.

Be aware that a big exhaust cam that opens the exhaust valve early will kill spool and bottom end torque on a stock turbo. The engine dynamics on stock style turbo are not conducive to early exhaust valve opening. The loss of cylinder pressure from the power stroke outweighs the reduction in pumping losses. I'm not sure you'd see much of any gain going from an S2 to an S3 on a stock turbo, but you might lose a bunch on the bottom.

It's like some people with ls1's who way overcam their stock headed cars, and could've made similar peak power with a 224 and gain huge midrange.
