need help! strange idle decreased boost

a couple weeks ago i was doing doughtnuts (stupid i know) and blew an ic pipe off, when i looked at it and there was alot of oil on the ground. i blew the turbo obviously. so i replaced the turbo last night and have put about a hundred miles on it. the car run really strange almost like it has a miss a bad plug but i changed them and nothing is diff. its idling really weird like around 500 or if at all sometimes it just dies. any suggestions it has 54000 miles on it. its an 04.

Yup. Check by intake manifold and get steel braided hose. Work much better

Does it sound like a Subi at idle?? Mine did that and one of my coil packs was bad. so i replaced that and it worked fine. Also Did you run your vac line back to the wastegate? That can cause this also. MAke sure you check all lines and Hoses. MAY also be a hole in one of you intercooler hoses.

Check all that stuff.

it did sound like a subie for about the first 500 miles, but that went away. now it has this wierd almost whistle when it spools and i keep getting an EGR low flow code n the dealership told me to just let it blow all of the oil out. its still doing it almost 1500 miles later. and its also building boost on the guage but i never feel it set me back so i let off the throttle and get back into it and its fine. im thinkin thats the BOV.?

Check and make sure the EGR bolts are tight. I actually blew that gasket and it caused a whistle sound. We didnt have any of the gaskets here, so i just took some Electric tape, made a gasket, and took it for a ride. Thats was the cause of my weird boost and idle problem. Check that, then Bov after
