Question Which Race Fuel Does everyone use?

Everyone talks about power with race fuel. but when you really look into it there are loads of diffrent options for race fuel you can get. WHich is the the forum's standard or most comman type of race fuel you use
Here are some of the options:

VP 103?
VP C16?
VP Import?
Leaded or Unleaded?

Check out Klotzlube.com. I've used their 100 unleaded and was impressed. Gonna try their 118 octane.

Good question...I was thinking about going VP C16 and VP Import. My friend with an 1000hp supra uses C16 and he loves it

VP also has a new one out called Q16. My gfs uncle works for them and says seen +25hp increase with the change in fuel over C16.

One thing you should consider is, the higher the octane, the smoother and slower the fuel burns. So if you are only running like 400 atw, VP Import might not be the best fuel because it's meant for super high cylinder pressures and the ability to still burn smooth.

So I've been told by my tuner in the case of like a stock turbo, you might lose power running VP Import, because a lower octane fuel might have more "pop". At least this is how I understand things but I could be wrong.

VP C16 is very popular. I have a drum of VP Import I share with a friend. I just wanted the most safe fuel I could get. If you are looking for every tenth in the 1/4 or if you don't mind spending for a bit of safety, get VP Import. Assuming of course you make at least over 500 hp or so.

Im looking to make around 550-600hp I looked at Klotz and they seem alot cheaper that VP. any suggests if Koltz's 118 is any good and whats the diffrance between the Oxiginated one and the no-oxiginated one.

what about sunoco.

so who can rank the three:
-VP
-Klotz
-sunoco

Id say you have the order right. Sunoco sucks though. Honestly, from what i've learned over the years, I wouldn't consider running anything but VP fuels.

Give Jarrod at Klotz a call. He'll be able to answer all your questions.
