I have an 05 8 with just under 20k miles and everynow and then I check the oil and she is always right at the low mark. She doesn't burn oil from what I can see coming out of the exhaust. Before I get smart *** remarks I ask someone else to crank the car to see what comes from the exhaust n I follow behind while they drive it so see if there is any visible blue smoke. She is a tight motor that pulls hard.

My questions is, do our cars burn oil off due to the fact that the turbo may burn some of this oil off from cooling and lubrication or should I check for other causes?

Anyone else notice this? Im going to do a compression test here shortly mayb that will shine some light.
