Amazing how all our numbers lineup relatively well.

Will those were on the tubular one.

JID I have a twinscroll t4 35R on right now, the 30R is what I left and I couldn't be happier, I lost power nowhere over the .82 T3 30R.

It's been awhile back on my experiences. But I had a T3 twin scroll gt3076, with basically the exact same mods as my friend who had an AMS gt3076 kit. with a .63 hotside. Anyhow we both made similar power on pump, but his car was like an on off switch while my car felt more responsive. Datalogging showed that I spooled 500 rpms faster, which I feel is significant.
Point is if you want to make the biggest power then go open scroll. Less restrictive period. However if you want to retain some fun, and torque then look into twinscroll. You can search back my started threads for more info and a full review.

on my R14 i am prepping it for the modified tuner shootout next month (3 weeks away!).

My goal was to get the most responsive 700+whp possible. I tried out the borgwarner 88/75 1.00 a/r which really surprised me - i expected it to spool fast and make 700 around 30psi. instead it made 751@20 psi, but 800rpm laggier than what i wanted. I was considering the 83-75 but that wouldnt give me enough top end power.... so i asked my engineer friends at BW to get to work! now I am waiting on a prototype test turbo that should arrive today ill post up pics when it gets here

You can't have everything! The only thing spooling that fast is a stock turbo (not even a variant of colors or letters), which doesn't make the big power. Some of the stock framed turbos make big power, but they too take a little time to get spooling. The Black on a 2.3L still takes around 4200 RPM to be ripping at full boost from what I've seen.

You're focusing on the wrong numbers. You need to look at rpm and power to see the whole story. A 35R makes substantially more power at 17 psi than a stock turbo at 24 psi, all other things equal. Looking at when those two completely different turbos hit some random boost level isn't going to tell you much. The real comparison is how much each turbo is making at respective rpm levels.

+1 My tame 22psi pump gas map on my Full-Race 40R TS is putting down 570WHP... It's pretty funny seeing my chart laid over any other fully worked/built 'stock turbo' car @ +30psi on pump gas There is absolutely no comparison... At 24psi and a more aggressive map it put down 641WHP on straight 93 octane pump gas...

I'm running the RNR TS gt40r kit and putting down 570 with full spool at 5400. Too much power and too much lag. I would rather have a fast spooling consistent powerband than 570 whp any day. I dont need that much power. I'll never use it because going in a straight line is over rated :P

I don't have that lag issue on my car at all...

I'm surprised that there really isn't any results from the BW S200 on a 2.0L.

Should be very capable of 550 HP and based on wheel sizes, should be very close to 4000 RPM for 25+ psi.
