Sent an email to APS to ask about their forthcoming products. This is what I received back.

"From early investigation, we have found that the turbocharger and fuel injectors are smaller on the US Spec than the JDM, so we are working to optimise a system which releases total engine power that the injectors and turbocharger are capable of producing."

What are your thoughts on this?

 

The turbo part does not seem possible.... Maybe the injectors .. but I would also think not..

But what the hell do I know

 

Doubtful, especially when you consider that the US ECU runs the car much richer than the JDM version. Real damn hard to do with smaller injectors.

 

They are probably talking about the FQ300 and FQ280 packages that are available in the other markets. I think that is what they are called.
