I want to get the apex power fc for my evo8 but it's only availabele in japan. I know that is coming out this year.
If anybody knows the release date please let me know.

It should be out in the U.S. in about 4~6 weeks.

 

Look for an individual that goes by the name of Maki on this forum. He mentioned to me he could get the power fc with commandor for $1,100.

P.S. The HKS F-Con V Pro would be sweet if you could get the software yourself to tune it.

 

I recommend you take a look at the GEMS or hold out for the AEM EMS.

The JDM unit will not work on a USDM car due to some pinout differences between the two versions - cannot confirm it yet, just passing on what we were told.

I was also told that the US EVO VIII requires a new version of the Power FC, and that they are in testing/production right now. My dealer cannot pin down a delivery date at this time, other than it should be fairly soon (who knows what that means?).
I am impatiently waiting for one also.
