S1's and lowspeed driving

hey all,
i just installed my S1's and doing some logging. i'm seeing some things strange things (at least i think its strange). other than the usual idle issues which i kinda dont mind cuz it sounds kool. i have a few concerns with low speed driving. will lodding i realized i had to remove a lot of timing at low speed/ off-boost around 2000 - 3000 rpms. is this normal????? also when i did that i now feel a significant power transition after 3000 rpms. any S1 owners experiencing this???????? i'd like to know if this is normal and i shouldn't worry. by the way, these cams really pull hard when ur heavy in the throttle. i love them otherwise
