Results from switching to a 9 bov or "jdm" bov???

Just like the title states. What gains do most people realize from switching to this bov?

I have done searches, but people just say that this one doesn't leak till 24-25 psi. Right now I currently still have my stock bov and boost starts at 22.5 psi and holds to about 20-21 psi to redline.

What bov do most people go to when they go to meth and are boosting 30psi?

Yes I understand that the jdm mr bov and ix bov are the same. That was not my question.

Dropspeed, that was the type of answer I was looking for.

Does anyone else have some insight?

I've heard that the IX Bov's are good up to 30 psi from Buschur themselves.
Also you won't taper down as much compared to the plastic bov.

everything said was correct. maybe buschur will chime in regarding the 30psi comment but the most i've ever heard of anyone pushing with the IX bov was 25psi. after i put mine in i thought turbo spool/bov sound got a bit louder, but that may be a placebo effect.

Mine seems to hold a little more than that, but none the less, it might be a worthwhile upgrade.

Anyone happen to do a dyno test with this?

Its worth it.... especially for the price. Probably the best option available to you.

Alright.

Know the part number for the gasket?

Is it a direct replacement?
