When I am at higher RPMs (I have an MBC), my boost gauge ticks when the boost tapers around 18-19 psi at around 6500 RPMs. Is this normal or is my gauge broken/leaking. Its not a loud ticking noise, but like a clock tick sound.

What kind of boost gauge do you have? Is it a mechanical type or electronic? Because if it's the later, that would be the stepper motor I think.

 

Its an autometer maechanical one. It ticks when the car keeps the boost at 18-19 redline.
