lean A/F, need assist.

Edit: bad sensor. Too much leaded gas.

Edit: sorry for the typo in the title. Is there a way to correct it?

Have you tried swapping out your wideband sensor yet? The Bosch sensors show lean when they're failing even if you keep adding injection pulse.

Honestly, I wrote that option off as too obvious and therefore wrong but I would be thrilled if that's what it is. Going to purchase a sensor now. Thanks.

If you increased your injector size and it still didn't change your afr's, i would think you would have a fuel pressure problem. It dosn't matter how big your injectors are if your fuel pressure is falling off. Check that and i bet you will find your problem being a clogged filter or a fuel pump problem.

If the wide band reads 14.0 afr flat line the sensor is dead .Usually bosch sensors are good for 60 hours pump gas and 20 to 30 hours race gas .

Valuable info. Thanks. Should have the new sensor in a few days. Will let you know. I have had the wideband in for a while and I have run a good bit of race gas through the motor so it makes sense. I just naturally assumed I must have screwed something up instead of it being a sensor failure.

sounds like it needs to be calibrated or replaced (wb02 sensor) because it would feel like crap at WOT, bucking and surging with it at 14.0 AFR and your thread title would be "where can I get new pistons"

It was a bad sensor. Thanks guys. New problem that happens to conveniently fit this thread. Running 25 psi on the pt61, making 450WHP in DLL but hitting 13 to 1 a/f ratios above 7,000 rpm, fuel table cells are set as low as they go (7.4) and I am running 1,000cc injectors (scaled to 850 in ECUFlash). I thought the walboro was good for 550WHP or so. Do I actually need a dual pump set up or should I be checking other things first? Thanks.

I saw 500+awhp with PTE 880cc at 115% IDC with a single walbro before I started going into the 12's AFR and needed to add more fuel beyond 7000rpm so that is strange that you're having problems at 450awhp with 1000cc.

It sounds like you have a fuel pressure issue, maybe an internal leak at the pump where it's not seated properly.

I was hoping you would chime in. When you were running the 880cc's did you still have the boost a pump hooked up?

I'm an idiot, kind of. The vacuum line going to my fuel pressure regulator came off. I have plenty of fuel at 25psi now and there are now hose clamps on the tubing. I should start to write down all the stupid stuff that has happened on my Evo and caused me hours of grief. Surprisingly enough you can actually tune the car reasonably well without the vacuum line hooked up to the fuel pressure regulator . Now I just have to fix the oil leak that decided to develop on the line going to the turbo... incredible.
