Clutch adjustment question.

I had a ACT HDSS kit installed on my evo ix about 3000 miles ago.

I broke it in and adjusted it once when it had around 1300 miles on it.

Everything was find for a while, but since then the engagement point has worked its way further from the firewall.

I am trying to adjust my engagement point closer to the firewall, but when I do my clutch pedal will not come all the way out on its own, I have pull it out a .5" with my toe.

I still have plenty of thread to work with adjustment wise I just can't figure out why the pedal will not come all the way back out.

Has anyone had this problem?

Any help would be great

Thanks in advance

Set it to 2" off the floor with car in air. Any higher off the floor and you may be reinstalling another clutch soon.
