I have one on my eight and it is rusting and didnt fit very well. I also noticed a noticable loss in low end torque for some upper rpm hp. I would prefer the stock one over that piece. I just cant find my stock one otherwise I would go back.

I have one on my IX with no issues. I couldn't really tell a difference in power, but spool up was slightly better with it than the stock licp.

I've heard they have rust issues and are made from mild steel which is pretty heavy.

Thumbs up

Never had a problem on mine! I don't think its heavy. I am running it with my ETS 3.5 FMIC. They also do some fabrication. Just call 850- 478- 2696 and look for Jimmy(owner) he is the man

Fighters Garage FTW

They are the one who built my BEAST!!!!!

pm me if you have questions

I've had LICPs by Fighters Garage, then AMS, then Nisei. The FG one was much heavier than either the stocker or the aluminum aftermarket ones and it was starting to rust when I pulled it off. It also doesn't have a bracket like the stock or Nisei, nor does it fit up snugly like them.

I have one, it fits okay and gave me no problems. With a little shoving, I was able to put my undertray back on too. I inspected it (I check periodically to make sure the clamps are tight) in October before I deployed and it was not rusting.

It was steel with no powercoating, a Fighters Garage decal, and no bracket.
