As I'm browsing through the forum threads there are way to many people asking how much of such and such fluid should they put in their car, thus I'm going to post Mitsubishi's suggested amounts of x fluid for a 2006 Evo MR straight from the owner's manual. Yes, please read yours if you have it as it'll answer a lot of the topics found on this forum.

Fuel (approximate):
14 gal (53 L)

Engine oil: Fully synthetic SAE 10W-30
Oil pan = 4.8 qt (4.5 L)
Oil filter = 0.32 qt (0.3 L)
Oil cooler =0.52 qt (0.5 L)

Power steering:
1.1 qt (1.0 L) Mitsubishi power steering fluid

Manual transaxle:
(5 M/T) = 3.0 qt (2.8 L) DiaQueen New Multi Gear Oil API classification GL-3, SAE 75W-80 or Gear oil API classification GL-4, SAE 75W-80/75W-90

(6 M/T) = 2.3 qt (2.2 L) DiaQueen New Multi Gear Oil 75W-85 (GL-4) or exact equivalent

Transfer oil:
0.63 qt (0.6 L) Mitsubishi LSD oil or equivalent

Rear axle differential:
0.58 qt (0.55 L) Mitsubishi LSD oil or equivalent

Active center differential control fluid for hydraulic pipping:
0.95 qt (0.9 L) Diamond ATF SP III

Brake and clutch:
As required (check the reservoir in the engine bay). Brake fluid DOT3 or DOT4

Engine coolant:
6.3 qt (6.0 L) Long life antifreeze coolant or an equivalent
--Include 0.69 qt (0.65 L) in reserve tank
