Please explain how not disconnecting your battery made you burn a hole in the oil return when you installed your exhaust? I think your confused with a couple of the terms you are using here.
My best guess is... the o2 sensor has a charge and was still plugged in when I was taking the downpipe, I am guessing that charge was enough to ground itself or whatever it did when taking the downpipe off ( I removed the whole exhaust in one piece ) and when it touched the oil return line it sparked a few times and then when I start it up and run it down the road, smoke is all over the place and oil is just pouring out.
Keep in mind I am horrible with electric stuff, so that is my guess and my friend said that was all he could think of as well so ... don't know
