clutch question?

I am about to purchase either a exedy twin metallic or a carbonetics twin carbon clutch. My question is what is the difference in a push and pull style? And i really wanna install this myself so i can save 500 bucks and so i can learn some more about my car. This is not my daily driver so it wont hurt to be down..also if theres anybody in the savannah georgia area that has installed a clutch before wants to give me a hand i would really appreciate it. TIA

The EVO uses a pull style clutch, if you watch the clutch fork when you press down the clutch you will see it pull the PP out to disengage the clutch. The push style is what the older DSM's used, the question of whats best is debatable. This just defines the direction of that PP is moved to remove the pressure from the clutch disk. I hope this helps.
