clutch question

My car is a 1993 Evo 1, occasionally the clutch pedal will not return completely. It stays about 3/4 of an inch from the fully out position. Here is the unusual part, when I am accelerating out of a corner the clutch pedal seems to "pull in" on its own, only slightly but it is noticeable. Fortunately it does not happen all the time but it does happen. The car drives fine even when this does happen, the solution is to simply tap the underside of the clutch pedal with my foot. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on? Hopefully it's just a simple adjustment.

Do you ever have problems going into and out of gears? hydraulic Clutch systems are relatively simple, with several main components. I would check to see if you have any air bubbles in the line. Remember, bleeding the line by using the pedal MAY NOT be enough to get all the air bubbles out. You may have to actually push the Slave cylinder in a little more than the pedal allows it to travel in order to fully bleed the line. If you still have problems, Try adjusting the rod behind the clutch pedal.

Good luck!

Sometimes I have a little trouble shifting into first gear when stopped. I will try bleeding the system from the slave cylinder. Thanks for the advice.
