GSC Single Valve Springs w/Chro-Molly Retainers...

Are these a true drop in set of springs and retainers? How do they compare in terms of install with other single spring+retainer sets?

I am really considering these since they're chro-molly and was told for daily driven vehicles chro-molly would be ideal and have a longer life.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I am using them in my motor build, and really liked them. When I was hanging out at GSC, we were talking about my motor build and showed me his spring/retainer combo, and for the price, I couldn't beat it, and bought it right there.

Nice pieces, and should work really well.

I had Scott & Ryan at TTP install a set of the dual springs and retainers...... It looked like it was difficult, but that is mainly becuase they are dual springs and require a lot of pressure to compress.

Yeah, I have no reason to go with Dual Springs as I'm never going to rev that high and I didn't want to go with titanium retainers. It seems the GSC singles are the only ones that come with Chro-Mally retainers.
