Boost issue
Hi all,
Last night I installed my tubular o2 that has been sitting around forever and my Forge WGA. Last night late I got everything buttoned up and went to bed. This morning I got up and took the car for a drive to make sure everything was ship shape. The car runs fine but when I get on it in low load cells (2500-3000) my boost will hit 20psi and then steadily climb to 24.5 by redline and stay there(No taper). I enlarged the divorce between the turbine and flapper side in the o2 housing but I think I may have the adjustment rod too tight and at higher RPM's the flapper can't open all thew way causing my creep problem. I wasn't getting any knock and my AFR's were around 11.0-11.1 and at 23-24 in the higher RPM's the car felt stronger than before. BTW my EBC was turned off the whole time. Has anyone else ever run into this issue when installing the Forge WGA or any other aftermarket adjustable WGA for that matter? I think I will try extending it a few turns ans see what that nets me.

Yea aftermarket WGA usually cause Boost Creep. I like the stock one the best, it spikes hard as crap.
If your using your car for alotta drag racing, you might just wannt stick with the Forge WGA as long as your A/R ratios are good and your getting no knock.

Problem fixed by adjusting the actuator to FP's specs. Holds boost all the way through redline with 5% gain on the profec and 18.5 psi with EBC off. This thing is awesome! I would highly reccomend this to anyone looking to get rid of taper!
