Oil pan crack.

Oil pan crack.

Ok so my oilpan is cracked next to my downpipe. It looks like i hit something and it hit the dp and then it stabbed my oil pan. Is there any fixes to this? Can i putty it or anything of the sort? I really don't want to buy a new oilpan if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

same thing happen 2 mine a couple of months ago, just take your oil pan off and see if you can get someone 2 weld the crack.

Thanks for the help guys but I just ordered another pan. its installed and not leaking now. But not that it fits into the title of the thread but what is little thing connected to the tranny that needed to be removed to take off the oilpan??
