I need help!!!

I am having issues with my Evo, when I WOT the car stutters and sounds like it's backfiring. I am only boosting like 15 pounds because I turned down the boost as I thought that might be the problem. My only mods are TBE. I thought it wasd the plugs so I changed them but the problem continued. I don't know where to go from here.

And I tried searching for a long time and didn't find any answers.

start with your spark plugs

we need more info though

is the car tuned?
mileage?
last spark plug change?
type of spark plug?

im also having this same problem first thing im going to do is change the spark plugs i am going to go back to regular ngks and im going to try and gap them a little less then stock and see what happens its really a pain in the a** to drive since im on the turnpike everyday and when im crusing and let off i look like an idiot haha. the 3 things that i was looking into was the spark plugs, boost leaks, and turning down my boost because i mite be over boosting but i turned it down and it still does it so i guess ill try the toher things out now. does anyone have any other ideas?

I am having a similar issue, but I dont see it until about 4500 rpm's in 3rd gear and above.. It pulls great until that RPM point. my AFR's are around 10.5 too at the top end of the RPM range... I am running boost off of stock solenoid and purchased an EVC V, but it hasnt arrived yet. I plan to turn down boost to around 24 peak and 21-22 taper. I always run 93oct gas here (Germany). I just changed plugs about 1800 miles ago, but I have also been running very rich due to tune being out a bit. I am also getting it tuned again via ECUflash this week...
