Why do you want an external wastegate on the stock turbo? Let me guess, the sound?

That is not a external wastegate. It's your stock internal wastegate with an open external dump. It's advertised on this very home page: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=342112

lol it is probably the coolest sound in the world.

I think the only reason why Id want it is because theres this big hype about the way a turbo sounds and honestly... I just cant hear the sound of a turbo lol never have. I cant even hear the sound of a big big turbo.... not even on a mack truck turbo haha seriously when I hear u guys says "that BOV and turbo is sooo loud!" i have no effing clue what the heck ur talking about haha so the next best thing is external dump lol

but no, you dont want to get the e-bay 02 and do all the fancy stuff when it really isnt all that necessary unless its truely externally gated.

Aren't they illegal around your area? I would never risk a mod that could get my *** impounded.

...cops here aren't strict at all with cars.. I could run nitrous and full on slicks.. as long as I have license plates they don't give a **** lol! I guess it's just the bonus of living in an area where every facet of my life is regulated by the government.

And the only reason I want it is for the sound.. I could care less about the performance factor, I'm not into drag racing or anything just like a car that sounds good and has some decent power.
