Yeah, mine was too...

Like I mentioned before, it can REALLY tests your patience, anger, frustration management skills. Not to mention your physical agility.

You'll get it... Just take a break, get some food for energy and go at it again...

I always use the tail of the t-case as a pivot point, move it up and down while putting pressure on the passenger side of the t case housing. Takes me just a min or two and it pops right on. Make sure you have that small o-ring still on the t-case or it will leak! It makes it easier if the driveshaft is on it too, just unbolt the rear section, that way you can twist the driveshaft a little to get splines to line up.

Thanks guys... there is a pic on the 1st page but everything went in....

I got the first spline on... did some breakdance move so I was facing the other way and could see from the front... then blam it popped right on. Most of my before attempts were with the driveshaft on.

It's a stock transfer case but I just had a badass shep trans built so it feels GREAT!

tcase upgrade over winter... right now the stocker is doing great with frequent fluid changes

I endured a lot of downtime while I saved up the $$$ for everything I'd have to pass right now LOL It's going to take a few days for my body to heal up after doing everything the hard way.

I don't see how anybody ever gets good at a clutch change/taking the tranny and tc off and evo then reinstalling them.

I've done it 4 times and it still sucks *** lol

i just did a clutch and flywheel and had my tcase rebuilt. hardest part for me was breaking the throwout bearing away from the pressure plate. everything else went smooth. oh and i didnt take out the subframe either. if i would of unbolted the subframe it would of been even easier
