Need opinionon Turbo upgrade

I've been out of the loop for better than a year, but I'm looking to upgrade from my 03 stock turbo (currently also has a 10.5 HS on it)

I want to see if there are any worthy contenders that would not require Ex manifold or downpipe replacement.

I have an Invidia O2 housing, but would consider replacing that in a heartbeat if I needed to, in order to "support" fit-ment of a different Turbo.

Besides that, I have a Buschur ported and coated Stock Ex Man, a Nisei IC , and AMS lower IC installed.

I could manage upgrading injectors (or Alky kit) and head studs to support a larger Turbo.

I have sufficient EMS to handle the tuning, etc...

I'm basically looking to drop in a Turbo for more power without getting into a complete kit.

I've looked briefly at an Apexi withan external wastegate, that was described to do just that, but don't really know much about it yet.

I've considered a Evo IX stock turbo - but the difference in power doesn't justify the expense, since mine is still in very good shape.

I'm looking for HP and Trq gain, but I don't necessarily have a specific number in mind.

I'm just trying to see what the best bang for the buck is out there right now, (with minimal cash and supporting mods.)

Am I dreamin'?

Thanks for any help!

Forced Perdormance White, Green, or Red. All 3 of those are direct bolt on. Ur look at power range from 420-550

GT35R. For the amount you will pay for FP Green will cost about 1600-1800 and a Garret GT35R will run you between 1250-1450.

Don't forget to add another $1,500 - $2,000 in additional parts. He is on the stock manifold so he will need a new exhaust manifold, intake pipe, wastegate, etc etc if he goes GT series.

If you are willing to go without your turbo for a couple weeks you can send it in to FP to have it converted to a green and save some cash over a straight swap. May even be able to do a core exchange (they place a core charge on your credit card and hold it until they get your turbo back).

This dude is right, but you will need to upgrade your exhaust manifold etc. for that. The Green, Red, and White will work with stock style manifolds. Red is supposed to make the most power. All retain stock-appearance.
