rhd evo 5 white smoke(compression test +

so my problem is, i have tons of white smoke coming from my manifold by the o2 housing! after a few mins of the motor running.

specs
99mirage 4 door converted to a evo 5 rhd widebody
just finaly got it running and this happens!

evo 4 motor (same as a evo 8) just different crank specs basicly.
evo5 tranny
evo 9 t/c
evo8 fly wheel clutch
evo 4 turbo

now i did a compression test and it reads 150/165/155/165
so im guessing that is alright and is not the head gasket?

i checked the turbo intake no oil! but i have not let the motor runn any more then 8 mins so not sure if that is long enough for the turbo to spit out oil if its bad?

the smoke smeels like burnt somthing mybe plastic of somthing solid

any ideas please really need hlep im

ps i also seen a few sparks out of my tranny beacuse the tranhy splash sheild is bent a little open and i seen a few sparks not sure if that is bad

You say smells like plastic? maybe sweet smelling?...check your oil filter cap and look for wht foam around the inside of the cap..start the motor and look for bubbles...you have a head gasket problem that is passing water when the engine heats up!.. The smell is anti freeze..

This should not be advanced. its all the crap your hands had on them burning off the exhaust manifold and turbo...

Also, you should change the car you drive to say "evo 5 mirage swap", because its not an evo 5. different chassis.

if it's not the same chassis then why does everything bolt up?

haha it is the same chassie they even have the hook up on the rhd on my mirage for the rhd trunk and gas opener, and theres a few other things that you can tell it can go booth ways rhd or lhd! basicly the just add on the things they need for the evo 4,5,6 yes extra welds and such

but yes you are right its a mirage with evo 5 swap haha!

any way back on the subject here, the white smoke is not sweet its stinks like exhaust it burns my eyes

d

video here it is
everything is a little messy but bare with me i have to clean up the slop

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lCB8neOGU4

ooh by the way i noticed the vacume line behind the intake mani right next to the tps senser is not hooked up!
so mybe thaqt is why the idle is kinda high, i dont really have any other evos to go off of so i kinda did this swap blind, which sux i wish i could just have someone pull up there evo so i can star at it all day and see whats missing.

this swap rann me pretty cheap i would say about 5k or mybe 5500 i mean i know how to shop and i made alot of my own fabrications, and built some of my own parts.

It is based loosely on the same architecture, but it is not the same chassis. evo chassis are anywhere from 70-200% stiffer than its base counterpart, depending on the version and year. Evo 5's are over 100% stiffer than a mirage.

looks normal for a 1st start up, it takes a little while to burn off all the oils.
