Stevo8's most recent build.

I say Stevo8 cause thats my SN on all the motorsports boards.

So I purchased this car as my second evo a little over a year ago. It was a very mild track prepped car setup for NASA TTA,

This was the mod list as of purchase:
-Works 269 cams
-Works TBE w/muffler delete
-720 injectors
-walbro pump
-sunroof delete
-Muellerized Buddy clubs
-Whiteline bushings and bump stop kit.
-RRE 25mm rear sway
-PF 2piece rotors
-stainless lines
-5zigen rims

After purchase I changed a few things:
-GSC s1 cams
-IX turbo
-DME o2 housing
-ported throttle body
-Whiteline roll stop kit
-JIC FLT-TAR coilovers
-ETS fimc
-Injen IC pipes & intake
-Forge WGA

Shortly after that I had a main seal start to leak and decided to pull the motor and freshen everything up. The goal this time around was to push the setup to what could be a competitive TTS car that was easy to drive and would also be able to handle more power if I wanted to throw a larger turbo on it and go play at a redline event or something.

So here is the current mod list and changes:
-ported head
-Ported IX turbo
-ported intake
-ported coated stock manifold
-Revolver cams
-Blox Cam gears
-jam no tick lifters
-AGP fmic
-Agency power motor mounts
-RC1000 injectors
-ACT prolite flywheel
-ACT HDSS pressure plate
-ACT 6 puck unsprung disk
-misc bling and painted stuff
-Ohlins Vishnu/Gerrard spec/Chronohunter spec

Got tired of the ridges on the manifold so I got rid of them as well as the magnesium logo.

some head porting

Some engine bay cleanup

stuffed the motor in today.. Hopefully button it up before the end of the weekend.

Thumbs up

Hi Steve,

That gold/black engine set up is very nice, it complements each other rather well. A real clean look without being over the top mate. That donk should put out some nasty ponies with your mods Steve.

You'd better keep an eye on those Ohlins, I've been keen on those for a while mate . That's a nice handling package, have you put that back in yet? Let us know how it all comes together & keep us updated with your progress.

Cheers Steve

Hey steve, I am planning on slapping the trans and motor in this weekend... Out of everything thats changing I am really most excited about the gerrard spec ohlins... Not only can you not get them anymore but I got them brand new rebuilt from a friend who did me a huge favor by selling them to me and not keeping them.

Thanks for the compliments guys, hopefully I can start installing everything in the car this weekend.

The cam gears are BLOX gears... They are really nice and the price is pretty good as well.. SpeedElement has them on sale for a heck of a deal right now as well.
