6 speed motor/5 speed motor differences?

i noticed that the crate engines for the 5/6 speed EVO's have different model numbers, and very different prices.... i always thought it was the same motor. what's the differences between the two?

reason for different part nr's is the clutch from a 5 speed is different from the 6 speed version. As for price maybe the vendor you are looking at has one on offer(such as Lancershop?)

cheers

yeah, the one on lancershop. it's just the motor though. there are no drivetrain components, so i don't get what the differences are, and why the price gap is so big.

they probably have quite a few to shift and have discounted one to move them on quicker. The only difference is the clutch, nothing else

cheers
