You're right, I forgot about that. Then I would assume it's a 6, since the engine is flipped like the 7, 8 and 9.

Ok thanks guys i just hope its not an evo 4 which are the crankwalk candidates.I will get some numbers off it see if i can find out anything with that

tha is not a 7 , the 7 says evolution on the valve cover

Need more pics. It's a 4,5 or 6 engine. The 4 and the 5 are exactly the same look on the outside. The 6 has a different thermostat housing. There's no way to tell the 4 and the 5 apart unless you break open the engine.

...or you can look on the turbo. On the 5, it should say TD05HR..blah...blah...blah, while the 4 turbo only has a bunch of numbers.
