Evo just died on highway, fuel pump not pumping

So tonight I was driving to a dragstrip for a car show, and while I was coming up the highway, my car just shut off. I pulled over and tried to start it again, with no luck. It turned over, but that was it.

I pulled the back seat to see if my Walbro was turning on when I turned the key, and it was not. I just assumed the fuel pump had went, and drove back to Cincinnati, picked a new one up and went back up and put it in.

I tried to turn it on, and still no luck, the fuel pump was not turning on and the engine was just turning over.

So basically where I stand is my car just died out of nowhere, battery is still good, but the fuel pump is not turning on and it is not the pump itself. I didn't get a chance to check and see if it was getting spark.

Has anyone had anything similar to this happen, or have any ideas of what it could be. I just was trying to get and idea of what to start checking and what not. I am pretty broke right now, so may not be able to afford to take it to a shop right away.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Anthony

No issues here with mine but always check the cheapest thing first in the fuse. If your car starts running poorly, you don't just go out and automatically replace the motor. Always start from the bottom and work your way up.

Is that #8 in the car or under the hood?

And would that make the fuel pump quit working?

I also have an 02 simulator if that makes a difference.

You were right. I replaced that fuse and it fired right up. Thanks a lot.

Thanks man. I actually just got home and saw this post, but it was just that fuse that redboosted05 was talking about, so it was a quick fix. Guess I left that one out when checking the engine fuses.
