New o2 sensor $300 from the dealership?!!?

Does this sound right? Or did the parts guy look up the wrong part? I've been throwing a P0420 code, and am only getting about 20mpg/hwy, so I'm pretty sure it's an o2 sensor. I was going to replace the sensor in the cat first, but now that it looks like it might cost $300....

If you want to replace an O2 sensor just go and buy a Universal Bosch sensor that you wire in. It's around $50 and works perfect.

++1 autozone or any parts store should sell them also. i stripped my threads out on mine when replacing my 02 housing and the stealership told me 364.XX i had to ask them twice. but then i just went with one of these!!

Has anyone gotten an o2 sensor from this site? They list both the OE pre- and in-cat sensors. Do they come with the appropriate OE plugs as well? Or will I need to hard-wire these in?

How do you match up the wires if you purchase a universal O2 sensor? The rear O2 has four wires ( two black, one white, and one blue). Are the two black wires ground and doesn't matter if they are switched?
