licp difference
licp difference
Im in the market for an LICP and ive noticed that there is a difference in some of the LICP's out there. AMS has theres that is 2.5 and it tapers down about mid way through the pipe now ive looked at Injen and Buschur and there is 2.5 all the way through and i was wondering is what is the difference and which is gunna for for me? It is a Daily Driver take it to track and strip sometime....Ive searched and cant find anything on this issue and me and a few other people would be thankful for the help and comments!
P.S. if it makes any difference to anybody im staying stock turbo for a while with bolt ons shooting for 400hp
Thanks Gentlemen

I'm pleased with my ETS, but really, AMS, Buschur, etc. will give you great results. It's pretty easy to improve upon the lame stock LICP. Not maybe companies get it wrong, so you're good choosing anything out there, really. That certinly doesn't go for ALL parts

There is a reason why we put a cone transition in our lower i/c pipe. A very good reason at that. It would be easy to make the pipe 2.5" all the way...but when you want air to change dirctions or pipe diameter you want to do it gradually not quickly with just a silicone coupler
Ours is extremely light weight, has exceptional bead quality (that I have yet to see be matched), and fits like a glove!
I have more information on my product page about my LICP at http://paradigmperformance.net/products/evo/licp.html

Just wanted to thank you guys on all this and it helped alot i think im going to go with the Nisei because of the support bracket and it is a very great price. If i could find an AMS licp for around this price i would get that cause it had a bracket also wuth a slight taper and not extreme but thank you again
