Sick car... power level is crazy! Seen him at the shootout but he couldnt get it to launch, probably the gearing he has? Anyway, sick machine man.

It had the same gearing as when it went 8.96 @ 158mph, the gearing wasn't the issue. The 2 step was set up to the vehicle speed sensor, and for some reason decided to take a vehicle speed sensor dirt nap. He didn't want to risk damaging the drivetrain by coming out the hole too hard, or bogging it without the 2-step. He just rolled out and stomped it. He complained the car felt like it was down on power even with several 160 mph trap speeds. After performing a cylinder leak down test, he discovered he had a tweeked exhaust valve. So on 3.5 cylinders it was trapping 160mph. After having the head refreshed it's back to quadruple digit awhp.

I just realized that Mike's BW turbo had a damaged exhaust wheel as well (from a forgin object in the exhaust). It would spool even better with a fresh wheel.
