Comparing numbers is irrelevant. He could of been on a different dyno, you could have been on a forgiving dyno....

Not to mention, how do you run 11.3@121 with over 530awhp on 93????

Your numbers mean nothing. You trap is horrible... Thats dumb low trap for a 500whp 35r evo....
Your in FPgreen territory with your 4bolt .82ar housing

I am 100% positive I am not misunderstanding what AMS said. THERE WAS NO 5 BOLT 82 in the testing because the only one in existence at the time was the one turbonetics sold. That 82 housing cant be machined to accept the 35r wheel. The reason they sold the kits with a 5 bolt housing is because they would have had to have two different kits if they sold a turbo with 4 bolt housing. Thats why the initial testing done was so important. They had to be sure they weren't leaving HP on the table by not offering a 4 bolt turbine kit.

FOR MY LAST TIME. AMS did test the 35r turbo with the precision 63 against the garret 4 bolt out 82. The results have been stated many times in this thread.

4kinboost is dead wrong in this thread guys. And I am done trying to set the record straight. If you are not sure whats going on call Martin on ask him. Do not ask anyone else at AMS. Just Martin. I am sure this information is correct because I was building my 35r car at the same time and wanted to be sure I was choosing the right housing. So my memory is crystal clear on this subject. Martin spent a ton of time developing his kits. They build many manifolds just for the testing that are now paper weights. No other vender went through this level of testing at the time.

we had the turbonetics housing machined to fit. Blouch Turbo did the machining for us..

He quoted AMS and still didn't understand the underlying message. Since they tested the housings on the same manifold, WG and downpipe combo, common sense tells you it was a 5-bolt.

Facts are facts, they don't need to be elaborated.

They do need to be elaborated. Because you have the facts dead wrong. Martin did take the time to build different headers. And I am not getting facts from reading. I spoke with Martin on the phone at the time of the testing. I wanted to be sure I was building my 35R turbo kit around the correct hotside. Everything on my car is custom made and takes a tremendous amount of time to fabricate to squeeze into a small engine bay. I needed to be sure I could max the flow of the turbo in the precision 63 housing.

Well hopefully they have a new housing cast by now. If you could post pics of the housing I can tell you. It was already proven at the time that garret housings destroyed the turbonetics housings. the question was how did the garret compare to precision. I dont know all the housings that were in the test. I was only concerned with how the precision compared to the garret. Garret offered 63, 82, and 1.06 for the 35r. I myself had already tested a gt30r in a machined out 63 and the performance was horrible. I wanted to be sure I was getting a houisng that would work well with the 35r wheel. using a turbonetics housing bored out wasnt really an option for me. They have a whole new line of turbos now.I am sure they have more up to date stuff. I am also sure this new stuff was not around for the AMS tests.

Dan. You just always find a way to try to make a fool of yourself.

Those passes were discussed weeks ago. The boost leak tapered my boost to 24psi in every gear. So yes, I ran 121mph @24psi in a 3400+lbs car. I'm guilty. I even posted datalogs of the runs. I don't always contribute everything that goes well. I even post things that go wrong. This is what makes me a real guy and not an 'internet-thug'.

So hopefully you'll keep reading my posts and learn from my mistakes. It will do you some good.

By the way? You have a stock turbo still? I didn't happen to notice you on the list of top 20? You're still a baby in the game and have much to learn. After you run a time faster than mine let me know what your opinons are. Until then, keep them to yourself.

But its ok if you try to dog me with my idle issue with cosworth cams when I first installed them? Please, your hypocritical and just as much as an e-thug as you claim I seem to be.

BTW, I dont go the track. I havent been to the track in about 3 years. Last I went, I laid out a 11.4@128 with my 90 GSX with a FP green and stock bottom end. That was with a 2.0 60ft spinning all of first gear. That was my first time using Anti-lag on DSMLink. Oh, btw, that was full weight, even ALL the panels/seats were in...

Sorry I dont meet your expectations of track time, but once again, this is a forum. Dont think your any superior to anyone else, your ignorant and your mentality is that of a 4th grade bully. Grow up child.

Dan

Oh btw, I like how you can only reply to my comment since your all knowing, but when 94AWDcoupe rebuttaled, you have nothing to say.... Shocking!

Scott didnt help me GET the dsmlink. He attempted to help tune it but I had issues with the GM MAF setup. Later on I took it to pampena after I had a buddy of mine help with configuring the GM MAF. Scott's tune with a uncalibrated MAFT was actually pretty decent, but we just couldnt go passed 9* advanced at WOT.

What other jab do you want to try and take? You dont know me, you dont know my car, and clearly, I dont think you know what your talking about. K thanks.

Ok, first of all- CALM DOWN. Take a deep breath. Count to 10.

All i did was ask you a question.

I'm going to apologize for hurting your feelings.
I'm going to admit that my last post ( about the track time thing) came off the wrong way.

I'm going to be the bigger man and just drop it with you, because this is going in the wrong direction. We live too close to be at each other's throats. We have friends in common, and I don't want you to feel akward the day we meet. I want to put this e-battle to rest. Somehow we are just getting off topic and It just won't end the right way.

Truce?
