Nice 03'...whats its current state of tune/mods? Sorry to hear about your 1G and what happened to it. I am sure your next drag project will be even more impressive!

Thanks guys for the kind words. I can't wait to start doing things to it.

Current mods to the evo right now are

3" SS TBE
HKS 280 cams (these need to go lol)
Upper and lower I/C pipes
English racing flash
MBC

So for the most part it's pretty much stock. I'm so used to the talon right now the evo feels like a turd

List of goodies I plan on putting on the evo

HTA35r
cams? Not sure yet, thinking BF 272's
AEM EMS
ETS FMIC
Change all the piping to 3"
QM or maybe a tilton twin disc
of course the fuel system to support the mods

For now the shortblock will remain stock with an exception of ARP rod bolts and ARP head studs. But plans are for an aluminum rod 2.0L 9.5 pistons, ect ect.

Shouldn't be before too long I get this turd into the 10's. I can't stand how dead the topend is right now compared to my talon

'03 is the best year. That thing will quickly turn into a best. Nice Rotas! If you get a chance to, weight them for us. I'd like to know how heavy they are.

I'm sure these rims weigh a grip considering they are 18's. I will weight everything soon. I think I'm going to de wing this car, We will see what it looks like, I think it will look good.

Are you not a fan of the HKS 280s that are in the car now?

I need another DSM!

Nice looking Evo. They are definitely a blast to drive. I parted my Talon for one, only it took me almost 2 years to finally get the Evo.

Tell me about it. I just left the dsm world after 10 years. My talon which I parted out in Nov. had a 35r on it. To go from that to this 16g makes me feel like I am driving in slow motion when I am at wot. But this car is fun as hell to drive.

Good Luck Jake.

The TB wingless is sweet. Im thinking about it for my WW too but it wont hold a candle to the TB imo.
