greddy ti or ets?

which is louder, and is better quality, the greddy ti or ets? i tired finding youtube clips of the greddy ti but kept coming up with the ti-c. i go to pick up my 06 MR from the dealer tomorrow and have some money left over, so i figured id start with an exhaust, then downpipe later and tune of course

i dont know about ETS...as i have never used it or known anyone who used it..but i know ets make quality parts...

on the other hand...i dont know the difference between Ti and Ti-c but if you are wanting the full titanium catback..not just the one with the titanium tip...i have heard it and i love it and i am going to get it very soon..it shaves weight...sounds "purry" at idle and smooth at cruise and is a total animal at WOT!!

good luck!

The Greddy is killer quality as everyone is aware, but so is our system. I can speak to the loudness question because I've heard the Greddy and ran our system on my EVO for quite some time. The ETS exhaust w/ Aero-Turbine muffler is very loud and aggressive, enough to make the Greddy sound mellow by comparison. We're now also offering our exhaust with a Vibrant muffler option since the Aero Turbine is a bit too intense for some

Tom, any pics of the new muffler? Installed?

I can still get the Aero-Turbine muffler with a resonator correct?

Thanks!

Dan,
No pics yet, as everyone thus far has stuck with the Aero Turbine. Perhaps the loudness isn't an issue

Is a resonator still an option with a downpipe back exhaust?

i absolutely love the sound of the ets, can you get it straight out instead of an agled exit? i had an angled exhaust on my wrx, and i liked it first but started to wear off on me

Dan,
It's not. We were unfortunately unable to come up with a resonator that was both readily available and had any amount of sound suppression that also cleared everything under the car.

We built the system for absolutely minimum bends and highest flow, so we don't have a muffler that will fit in the space required for a straight exit, or a jig that adds the second bend.

How does Mitsuboost03 have a resonator? You cant use like an Invidia resonator or an aeroturbine? Damn man Im really looking foward to getting this exhaust, im just worried its going to be TOO loud with the HTA35r....

Our T4 turbo kits include a 3.5" downpipe, but we do not offer a stock turbo 3.5" downpipe.

I'm not sure what his setup is specifically, but we were not able to come to a reasonable solution for a resonator in that system. If you want quiet, this is not the system to choose

The Greddy is very loud. I've not heard the ETS, but I do have their IC piping kit and they are TOP quality!
