Turbo Swap Question!

I am currently removing my stock turbo in order to put in my FP Red. I have gotten everything off with success and now im down to the last thing, the oil pan line. I wanted to know if it was best to take it off at the spot where it bolts up to the turbo, or the oil pan. also, do i need to drain my oil before doing this? help is much appreciated!

whatever u feel is easier...i think from the turbo was easier if ur radiator is still in...if its out then oil pan is easier...and no u dont have to drain ur oil...u will have some oil leakage but its not gonna pore out..but u might as well just do an oil change
