2-Step Rev Limiter...

I plan on installing a 2 step rev limiter in my car for drag racing...Has anyone used one on a dsm before? Any reason not to install it? I just want to be able to concentrate on the tree and clutch slip more than where im at on the tach.

Thumbs up

With a stock ignition setup, this won't work.

The Evo 8 ignition system differs from the Eclipse/Talon system. Evo 8 has the power transistor built into the coil, therefore making it impossible.

However, there's still life for you guys wanting a stutter-box and a more powerful spark. Ultimate Racing is currently testing its Individual Coil-on-Plug setup with MSD DIS

It's on our car and running great! If all works out well, this will be offered to everyone very soon!

So stay tuned.

Darryl

ok...well that sucks. But glad to hear your offering some parts not currently offered from the other tuners...should be a nice upgrade for the serious power users...
