freak mini battery?!?

I bought the deka etx14 mini battery a while ago which is suppose to be the same as braile mini racing battery. But just yesterday i took my evo in to my shop to do an alignment and while its in the shop anyway...i thought i test the battery for the hell of it...i read in the past this battery actually puts out around 400cca... i was like what the heck and tested the battery for CCA using factory battery tester...it putted out 637CCA..i thought that must be a mistake..tested it again...still same thing... i thought it could be a machine error so i tested a customer car's battery with it, lol and showed accurate reading... i let my car sit for few hours and tested again...640cca this time...is there something wrong with my battery or is it just a freak of a battery?

i believe for a minute or two of cranking it will put out over 600 cca and then gradually decrease over time just like any battey soif you keep cranking it it will gradually decrease to the lower number-JOEYD

I do believe the CCA rating is at a very low voltage, meaning you need to keep the load on the battery for 30 seconds (guessing here) and the voltage needs to stay above 9.6 volts while under full load. I'd do some googling to be certain you are doing the CCA testing correctly before placing a "godzilla" sticker on that battery, lol.
