transmission problem....need help

When the engine is off, I can put it in any gear and reverse with or without the clutch. BUT when the engine is on, it will not get into gear or reverse. I literally have to shove it in gear(I was hour half away from home, going home). When I'm driving, it still not getting in gear that easy. I checked the tranny fluid, and it's still full. There's about 15k miles on the tranny fluid.

I was at the drag strip the night before, and it started it. Today, it is real bad. Any idea's? Something went loose? This is a 9 MR 6 speed tranny.

sounds like a clutch release issue. does it grind when you put it in gear?

no it doesn't grind, even when I shove it in. Could it be that the clutch/brake fluid isn't pushing through enough? I'm gonna check it today.

I checked the clutch fluid and it's pushing. I had my cousin push the clutch in while I look at the slave cylinder. Everything seems to be working fine. I bleed the clutch fluid so fresh fluids are there.

How do i check the clutch release?

sounds like the clutch is stuck engaged, were you slipping the **** out of it at the track? or if it did this right after a hard shift, maybe you bent something in the shift linkage. I have seen a clutch get so hot and warp so bad on an sti, and the car had the same symptoms as your car, btw the pedal felt fine, but it wouldnt go into any gears, and if you started the car in 1st it would start rolling even with the clutch pedal to the floor.
