Red on 03 50k few mods

I had Red and FIC 1050s installed a couple weeks ago. I used mfreds scaling ,latency, voltage values from this thread below from ecuflash forum. Thanks mrfred!

Prior to Red and testpipe car was at 306whp on dd conservative tune with 91, meth (windshield fluid), 3 in exhaust, 9 turbo, mbc, ported stock mani, Megan 02, Random cat, Walbro, spiking to approx 26psi tapering to18psi. Prior to meth and cams car was at 268whp with 9 turbo,ported mani, Megan 02, turbo back and Random cat, Walbro, 24 psi spike tapering to 17, no mbc.

After installing Red and FIC 1050s I was running on 91 and windshield fluid for a week and car ran just like stock except took a few cranks to start when it was warm. Ended up leaving car at about 335 whp (Mustang Dyno) prior to changing to E85. I wasn't very happy but my car has never made great power and I have stock intake and intercooler. Random cat was pretty clogged up too.

When I switched to E85 I just ran the 91 down to about a gallon left and filled up with E85 and had the car flashed at the gas station by Doug (Dougs Dyno) to change the scaling from 975 to 680. Drove it to the Dyno and on 1st run gained about 40hp to 375whp same boost. Car was just a little lean in the midrange. mrfreds values were just plug and play with the 1050s on my car. I also switched to a testpipe, removed 3in Random cat just prior to E85 .

We ended up with the car at 395 whp 379 torque at 26.7 psi on Mustang Dyno (Dougs Dyno). 4th gear run. Temp was about 90f.
Boost was pretty flat and only lost about 2psi dropping to 24.5

So with E85 and a testpipe no change in boost gained about 60whp over 91. With Red, testpipe and E85 about 89whp gain. I don't feel so bad now and I know I will be where I want with a intercooler and intake. Car drives great other than the P300 stutter it has aquired in 5th gear cruising at 3500rpm after installing Carbonetics twin.

stock airbox (modded with holes on backside lid and Works filter)
GSC1 cams (old version)
meth injection (using Peak -20 windshield fluid which is 33% methanol no glycol)
ported stock exaust mani

B&B 3in turbo back
testpipe(Random cat prior)

Carbonetics twin
Walbro
9bov

Wow! Nice numbers with those mods. Doug's dyno, are you in Vegas. We got to talk? I'm headed that same route with the RED, just waiting for ported mani and install cams.

nice power, like everyone else is saying, with a few changes 400whp should be no problem. if this is doug's dyno in vegas, i believe this dyno reads exactly like the buschur dyno, so numbers are definitely impressive!

Yea it was Dougs Dyno in Vegas. I'm hoping for 30-40 more hp with
intake and intercooler. If I get that I'll be satisfied. Car feels strong
and doesn't stop pulling.
