Congrats Mike!! I envy you probably more than any other car as my passion has always been landspeed.. Seeing what you have done with your evo when i have always sworn that i need a supra shows me a lot of hope.. One day i am going to build myself a monster as well.. hope to see you up there before the end of this year. I really need to witness it myself at the top of the mile!! Again amazing job man!!! Take down the supra next time out for all us of here!!!

Mike , I will not be back to Maxton in oct. because it is to close to the texas mile race and I just can't afford it at this time of the year. I will probably be back there in the spring if they have the hotrod top speed challange again next year.

Mike after over hearing you talk about the how high the bumps are and rewatching the vid again and seeing you ride over them at 200=,holy **** you have some ***** of steel!
On a side note did you end up getting your $20 yesterday?

I try to explain to people about how nasty the track is at maxton.. Imagine bikes at 200-250mph.. Its nuts there.. you gotta be a soldier to ride or drive fast **** there!!
It should be nice to see the evo compete with some of the high hp supras and porsches. I think you need to beat 229mph.

Hi guys,
I just wanted to see how many other are headed out to the texas mile to represent our community. I am bringing my 996tt and The Bruce Lee (twin GT40r) Supra. Tommy has been working his *** off (except for going to Vegas this past weekend..lolol) on the car for the last several months to get her ready for the event. She has had an open check book to do what ever it takes to make a safe and high HP contender. There is some serious fire power coming this month from the other forums! It will be a blast. I wanted to get all the guys together under one big tent. We have about 150feet blocked off for us right next to Sean Newsom's BBQ pit =) Let me know...
So far I have the following confirmations for our group.
1) Me and Tommy with several Supras and a little silver 996tt
2) Eddie Bello 1300hp 964 turbo
3) Todd and the EVOMS gang -several cars
4) Bobby - 1200+hp 993turbo
5) Josh from Autograf- Twin Turbo ford GT 1200+hp
6) Tym Switzer with David's car - 996tt, he wants to push massive boost to see where the break point is, so he can build a new motor..lol..should be some fireworks!
I brought out SPEED Channel last year and this year Torque TV (waiting for final confirmation) is coming out along with several Magazines to cover the event. Streetfire.net will be providing footage as well.
