ETS LICP comes default in Steel, however aluminum and stainless are also options. I prefer the saftey of steel as you can really crank on the Tbolts and not crush the pipie

Does anyone make a LICP that includes the turbo outlet elbow (and doesn't require their FMIC)?

would be interesting but not that Id ever seen. At that point it would have to be VIII and IX Turbo specific though as the J Pipes are different to clear the starter

Exactly, we use steel piping for the powder coated option kits and stainless steel for the polished kits. Steel piping allows you to tighten the T-bolts as tight as you can without crushing pipe where aluminum will crush under pressure.

Here is a comparison of our pipe vs the stock unit. You can see our pipe is 2.5" all the way through.

ETS Evolution Lower Intercooler Pipe

If you have any questions let me know!

I run ETS piping and love it. it is steel as stated above and i like the ETS over the AMS pipe (had both) because it is straight 2.5" where most others neck down or have a break in the pipe requiring more clamp and rubber couplings to piece it together. ETS worked just fine on my stock turbo and IC and came with T-clamps and couplers to mount to the stock turbo. It seems to have better flow.

I have their full intercooler piping and battery tray on my car. Fits perfectly and looks beautiful. No welds for potential leaks, just one continuous flowing piece.
