My evo 6 so far......

Hey guys, just wanted to share my build with you all and get some opinions/adice n so forth.

So here goes, I received the car 95% stock ( car had lowering springs and a filter)
Ive spent the better part of two years working on it myself adding a JIC exhuast manifold, Monstersport I/C piping and there carbon fiber intake box. Then last march I splurged and went and bought alot of stuff.

Engine Mods so far: HKS Gt 3037s turbo kit
Nology Plug wires
Monstersport I/C piping and intake
Apexi Power fc d-jetro
HKS fuel rail
Sard fpr
Power enterprise Injectors
Custom Downpipe with cat delete
Blitz Nur-spec R Exhaust
Jun racing flywheel
Spec stage 2+ clutch
Carbing Oil catch can and radiator overflow
Buddy club Racing condensor and some other parts here n there.

Right now I'm in the process of building my own intake pipe from the turbo to the C/F box with 4" piping and replacing the monster sport filter with a blitz ss filter.

My problem is is where to go next. I would like to get AMS'S new cnc head kelford tx272 cams and HOPEFULLY magnus's cast intake manifold which sames to be taking a long time to become available. So tell me what you guys think. BTW did all the work myself minus the paint job and clutch/flywheel install.

And a lil exterior shot

Well i was sold on the magnus by there design alone and the gains they posted running a gt3076 but it looks like I'll be waiting forever for it to be released. The design is similar to Honda's rbc manifold which is a must have for a k20 ( I work on my friends full-race turbo'd DC5 ) .

Nice VI!
You could stand to use a bigger intercooler core with that 3037. Especially since it's hot where you live.
A Blitz SUS cone filter might flow more than your airbox, but I can guarantee it doesn't filter as well and will raise you AITs. They are not necessarily bad, but they have been proven not to filter very well and the airbox keeps the intake air cooler. If it's more of a race car and it's not very dusty where you are and you are good about oil changes and you REALLY feel it's a rstriction, it's fine. But a bigger FMIC is much more important than an expensive fancy metal filter with larger holes that takes in hotter air. Otherwise I'd look into a dry paper filter element.

Thanks alot hokiruu, I'm trying to find a i/c core that wont cost me an arm n a leg lol. I wont be driving the car that much due to me not being able to get insurance that'll full cover the car's value atm. I may need to step up the a/r on the turbo though its currently at .63 and make the wastegate open dump.

Why? Are you seeking a certain trap speed or WHP target? either way, be aware that this will most likely increase you lag.

Next step should be an 8 ECU conversion and tuning.

Oh, I missed the Power FC part.
