Is there any way to clear the check engine light without disconnecting the battery? I know on my other car you can simply pull a fuse and let it sit for a few seconds.

Yep, do it with a laptop and the tactrix cable, or I think Autozone or places like that can do it for you as well, not sure what they charge though.

Go to Auto Zone or Advanced and have them clear it for you or get on Ebay and buy a C-reader. I have my own scan tool that I got from a friend as a gift. It stays in the Evo 'cause it's always throwin' CEL's.

I'm not trying to "hide" the problem, but after fixing a cel I don't want to always disconnect the battery. We tried to clear it with evoscan and it didn't work at all.

P0138 and P0141, guessing the o2 sensor took a ****.

maybe check to see if any of the wires are twisted or got melted. before i would buy new ones i would also try to "clean" them.

if u don't have a tactrix cable then i suggest you just pull your ecu plugs. that is so much easier and quicker. plus your don't need to setup your radio and clock.

evoscan, all the way to the bottom right hand side, there are 3 tabs, hit display dtc, write down the code (if you wanna know what it is) then hit clear dtc to clear the code.
