Aggressive Cams for MIVEC? Evo IX

I see that Brian Crower makes a 288/288 camshaft setup. I like the Tomei 280s, but I have an Evo IX and thats not going to work for me. What other companies make an aggressive cam 280 or higher? Im looking at GSC as well but I have not called them. I am still searching but havent come up with too much. I read a few articles off the forum and saw AMS's cam shootout.

All help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

cossie m2 are about as aggressive as you need for the street i think.

if you really need or want something aggressive, the tomei should get you what u desire, lol.

i dunno cuz, i just changed up my setup on what i wanna do. just ordered some stuff but I need 280s or larger. I just dont know who to go with. My friend found some good stuff on Tomei, but their site only has 260s for the Evo IX.

Whats the application? The MIVEC negates the need for a highly agressive cam. I would go with something common unless you are going with some outrageous turbo. Call kelford or GSC. I personally cant decide on S2s or Kelfords.

the kelfords have been getting good results. not sure how "aggressive" they are but, yeah we probably need some more details on the turbo set up and so on planned for the build.

GSC S3's should be something you consider. Also, look into Kelford. They can custom make you something to fit your needs.

What kind of setup is this for?

kelfords have been giving really good results from what ive seen on the boards. the fp4r are well from FP. as we know they make alot of good parts mainly turbos but on the shoot at ams they did pretty well i think.

You should start your research here:

AMS Evo Cam Test

EDIT: I know you said you saw this already but you should really get a good idea of what each company's cams are capable of.

It REALLY might help if you could list the setup you are going with... OR at least the turbo that you are going with.... Cosworth M2's, GSC S2's, Kelford 272s, and FP4R's suit mostly all smaller to midrange size turbos VERY well...
