GT3076r on stock engine

Would it be a bad thing to run a 3076r on a stock engine apart from a cam change. In the uk the stock block is rarely pushed to anywhere near the limits of what people are pushing them to over in the states. If so what other supporting mods would be needed to run a 3076r and at what sort of level of boost/power levels have been tried and tested?

You should be fine, most people run about 22-24psi on 93pump gas and see around 400-425whp, all depends on your mods.

Cheers for the reply i was thinking of adding these parts to my JDM VIII pleae chime in if you think i need other parts or some parts which are wrong

GT3076R (can this be used on a stock manifold if not which manifold)
3" exhaust
Boost controller (Not sure which one yet possibly AVCR)
ACT Clutch
Injectors (What size?)
GSC S2 cams with springs and retainers
Intercooler (Is the standard item up to the job?)
Walbro pump
BR8EIX

Sorry for all the questions but this turbo is rarely used on a stock engine in the UK.I would also like to stick with the stock ecu if possible or am i better going aftermarket?

Your injectors will depend on how much boost you wanna run and if you have race gas or e85 then you will need at least 1000cc injectors.
You could any kind of boost controller, everyone has diffrent opions, i have a hks evc6, it holds boost really well when set up right.
And you can run a stock ecu, just make sure you get a good tuner.

Ok cheers i will using pump fuel only in the car. If i was to run at 22-24psi as suggested would 750cc injectors be the best option? Also anyone know whats best in terms of performance an internal or external wastegate as the turbo is available in both forms?

I would go with pte 780cc or 880cc and do an external dump.
