Can you guys recommend me some mods

I auto-x my car maybe once a month and daily drive it everyday. I really want to upgrade my turbo but I don't know which turbo to look at. I just want something that will be good for auto-x. I know people will say FP Red but I'm just looking to buy everything at AMS and I don't know if they carry the FP Red. But can you guys tell me some turbos that are good for the track and daily driving use and some supporting mods to go with it. And is there someway to make Torque and horsepower close to the same number as each other? I don't want like hp to 400 and have torque at 327

Turbos for your application: I would look at the FP White, the CBRD BBK Lite, or just max out your stock IX turbo first.

Not the 3076 for auto-X! You´ll be better served by one of the two turbos I mentioned above. They both have a compressor wheel upgrade but retain the relatively quick spooling stock turbine wheel.

In addition, they are both based on the IX 16G factory turbo. So, you can just send in your existing IX turbo for an upgrade, I think.

For your purposes, stay away from anything but a stock based turbo... or you will dump the cash and end up going with one anyway. I've had to take a lot of people's money to put even OE turbos back on for the same reasons. CRBD lite/Evo Green/White are the only turbos you should be looking at IMO.

You do not need a different turbo. Plenty of other stuff to upgrade first. You saw how my car ran the other day at lunch. I am still on the stock turbo.

I have fp4r cams and springs, full 3" exhaust including 02 housing. Ams lower pipe, BR upper pipe, AMS fmic, QM twin disc clutch, 3" air intake pipe, FP wg actuator, 255 pump, pte 1200cc injectors. The car is on e85.

My car has nothing special really, its just very well setup.

You can do really good on your stock turbo. Get all bolt ons + cams (full turbo back, intake, boost controller, o2 housing, FMIC with LICP, then a 255 FP), and i think GSC s1's or even s2's would be great for what you are doing.

If you are dead set going to another turbo, I would go with the red.

The car has never been on a dyno, I have ran the logs thur the DLL program before a few mods i just did and it would always show ~425hp or so. Not that I put much trust in that. I do my racing at the drag stip, not a dyno or computer program.

The car has been over 123mph in the 1/4, the car weights 3340 raceweight, so I am sure its well over 400hp.

Is the upgrade of the FMIC really necessary? Would it not be more conventional to just upgrade the LICP while using the stock FMIC on the stock turbo?
