Why is a thread like this even in the "tech section"?

Off topic but how do these cams compare to GSC S2?

Why is the sound of idle with aggressive cams a big concern? IMO a 4cyl, no matter how powerful, will still sound like a tractor. You have to admit, theres nothing like the sound of a well built built big block V8. Whether you can outrun it or not.

True. I was just trying to help out the people who asked for a kelford idle video.

I keep seeing posts about why people are so concerned about the sound of the idle or that people are picking cams based off of sound. Well mine are already on order with the spring combo. This thread was more out of curiousity than anything. I've seen a ton of hks cams and gsc's...etc. I've never seen or heard an evo with the fp4rs. It was a pretty simple question and I already stated that they're purchased so what's the problem?

You want cams that knock your hand back from tailpipe on each pulse . A vid clip won't show what you can feel.

I've got weekass cams (4yr/old 272/264s) so I can't bash anyone elses setup, it's just impossible to see anything at idle from a soundclip.

What ever happened to Tomei? I'd like to get my hands on a poncam intake (stock duration/more lift)

These are my FP4Rs. I still have to tweak the management, but they're finally in (as well as the turbo...)
