Real quick question that I need to ask..
I want to keep the trans in and the transfercase all intact.
Is it possible to take out the shortblock?
I noticed one bolt on the backside of the block located right in the transfercase area being treaded towards the trans, but it does not look like there would be room to back the bolt all the way out.
I just need peoples opinions before I yank out the shortblock

 

If your car was about 6" wider it might be possible
