The Need for EXEDE?!

I am planning on buying an intake, turbo back exhaust, bov, intercooler piping, and induction pipe, before i get an ECU reflash. is this a good idea? does it hurt the car to have mods that the computer isn't optimized for? If i get it reflashed first, don't I have to keep getting it reflashed? What does everybody think is the best way to recalibrate the ECU? piggyback? signal interceptors such as boost control, air/fuel controller, etc., any thoughts?

Your upgrade path is pretty good. Keep it. It will work well with stock ECU. That the foundation you need. You will get a few horses with the mod.

Once you ready for some more serious horses, you will need to mess around with air/fuel, timing and boost. I went with piggyback type. Apexi SAFC for air/fuel and AVC-R for boost controller.

But there are many other ways. So, it's up to your preferences.
